Biography - Iain Cross Iain Cross is the founder and Managing Director of the Online British Art Gallery, the most comprehensive art search engine available on the net. After an executive career spanning twenty odd years in Finance and Management, Iain decided to ditch number crunching, forecasting and budgeting in favour of the more exciting and creative world of art.An art purchaser himself – albeit on a relatively small scale – Iain felt more could be done to bring a myriad of art galleries and buyers together more effectively. He wasn’t prepared to wait for the next large art fair and research revealed that there were many other potential buyers who felt the same way. As a result, he developed the Online British Art Gallery - an Internet art dating service with the sole goal of introducing interested buyers and reputable galleries to each other. Iain thrives on learning about new industries and acquiring new skills. Having taken science subjects at school followed by a law degree at university, Iain has worked overseas in oil exploration and in the UK within aerospace, management consultantcy, financial services, banking and headhunting. In addition to his original law degree he also holds a masters in business administration, is a qualified accountant and works as a self employed business coach. He combines his coaching work with the Online British Art Gallery.
